Campus Profile:
DePaul Hillel seeks to foster vibrant Jewish life on campus in a welcoming, pluralistic atmosphere for all students. We provide over 100 programs throughout the year ranging from spiritual and religious programs such as Shabbat services and dinner to building the Sukkah in St. Vincent's Circle. We have great cultural and social activities like our Tzedek volunteer projects, picnics on the quad, and free trips to Israel on Taglit-birthright Israel. We offer internships and scholarships for conferences held nationally and internationally where students are able to develop leadership skills and meet other Hillel students from various Jewish backgrounds. We also offer a Jewish Studies Concentration, a major in Religious studies with a concentration in Jewish studies. The DePaul Hillel Center for Jewish Life on Campus is located in the DePaul Student Center-Room 340 and provides and space for students to hang out, eat in our Kosher kitchenette, use the computer and schmooze on the couches. At DePaul Hillel we are committed to creating meaningful Jewish experiences for students every day.
