Campus Profile:Thank you for your interest in Hillel at Miami University. Hillel`s mission is to help students understand what it means to be distinctly Jewish and universally human - to commit to Jewish peoplehood and the world. Hillel encourages all to build relationships, learn from one another, and create and invigorate community. Hillel supports individual journeys of exploration and discovery through a wide variety of programs, cultural and immersive experiences, and social justice projects for students, faculty, staff, and the Oxford community. Jewish groups at Miami University include the Association of Jewish Students, Miami Students for Israel, AIPAC, KOACH, Business Mentors, First Year Students of Hillel, Greek-Jewish Council and various Sports Teams. Students are encouraged to participate in as well as create and implement new initiatives and establish new Jewish groups on campus. Our programs are open to all! Prospective students are invited to contact the staff of Hillel at Miami University to ask questions, chat about Jewish life on campus, and to arrange for student-to-student conversation or hospitality during a campus visit.
