Campus Profile:Hillel offers a wide variety of social, cultural and religious programming, such as lectures, minicourses, performances and parties. Speakers have included Rabbi Steve Greenberg, Paul Mendes-Flohr Shlomo Avineri and Sari Nusseibeh. Shabbat services and dinner attract between 75 and 300 students every week, Jewish and non-Jewish, as well as community members. Student organizations include Tzedek, Oberlin Zionists, Johnson House (Jewish studies program house) Kosher Halal Co-op and Queer Jews. The Oberlin Jewish community is a vibrant, diverse and welcoming place, full of opportunities to engage and grow.
