Campus Profile:Hillel is one of the largest and most exciting student organizations at UAlbany. With a dedicated staff and exceptional student leadership, Hillel is an integral part of the UAlbany campus community. Hillel`s many different student groups and initiatives offer a wealth of resources and events to enrich our students` social, cultural, educational, religious, and political lives. UAlbany Hillel is an organization that is dedicated to empowering students to develop strong Jewish identities through creative self-expression. Our community is built on a foundation of pluralism and celebrated diversity. At UAlbany Hillel we encourage students to bring innovative ideas and new visions to Jewish campus life. Jewish life at UAlbany covers a broad spectrum of student interests and needs. We host Shabbat services and dinners, bring students to Israel, host social events, and offer community service opportunities. We also provide a variety of Jewish learning, leadership, and networking opportunities. UAlbany Hillel encourages students to take advantage of the unique opportunities and events in the Capital District. We also offer informal counseling and conversations with Hillel staff.
