Campus Profile:Jewish campus life at UCSD is strong and vibrant! Our core programmatic elements include: travel opportunities to Israel and Central America, student-led programming in the residence halls of each of the six colleges, a strong Persian and Russian community, Shabbat services and dinner with three student-led minyanim and a free kosher meal, an award-winning Israel advocacy group, and a very strong Jewish Greek community, focused around AEPi and AEPhi. Other programs include arts and culture opportunities, intramural sports and Jewish learning. We also offer retreats and shorter immersion programs. We are a warm, diverse and welcoming community; students come from many ethnic and religious backgrounds. We strive to create a community where each student can find his/her niche and also feel part of a large and vibrant community.
