Mission Statement:
The mission of the Jewish Chautauqua Society is to provide knowledge and education about Jews and Judaism, to bring about an appreciation of the Jewish people, their history, religion, and culture, and to build bridges of understanding between peoples of all faiths and cultures. JCS is sponsored by the North American Federation of Temple Brotherhoods and conducts its work by sponsoring accredited college courses and one-day lectures on Judaic topics, producing educational videotapes on interfaith topics, and convening interfaith institutes.
