Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges
Dear HCR Reader,

Hillel's mission is to "enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world." The students on Virginia Commonwealth University's campus really demonstrated Hillel's mission statement, as I reported in "Hillel Activists Rally for Israel and Peace." When Muslim and Jewish students find a way to break down barriers, particularly today, it is a positive sign for the future.
