Hillel Uruguay invites college students to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity this summer to learn Spanish with Jewish students and young professionals from Uruguay and all over the world. Its annual Spanish program will run this year from Monday, June 26 through Wednesday, July 26 at the Hillel facility in Montevideo. In addition to language instruction, this exciting program gives participants the opportunity to earn academic credits at their college or university, help the local community and have a summer of fun.
The month-long program includes Berlitz Spanish classes and all required materials; four-star accommodations; one kosher meal a day; transportation to and from the airport; participation in Hillel Uruguay activities; involvement with the Tzedek Hillel social-justice program; and trips to Buenos Aires, Argentina, Colonia del Sacramento and Punta del Este, a popular seaside resort.
The program costs $1,800, excluding airfare, plus a $300 non-refundable registration fee. For more information, or to register, visit www.hillel.org.uy or send an e-mail to Spanish@hillel.org.uy.
