A kosher food program, catered by Empire Restaurant and Catering, was initiated at Case Western Reserve University this year.
It was a good move for both the students and the school, says Jeremy Cassius, Hillel director of undergraduate Jewish life on campus. Cassius, who was instrumental in getting the program off the ground, notes that several students expressed an interest in having kosher food available, and Case recognized the provision would be an effective recruiting tool for the school.
