
Hillel students deliver birthday card to Israel in Jerusalem.
A group of Hillel participants in the Taglit-Birthright Israel program packed a little something extra in their suitcases this summer: 5,860 birthday wishes from people around the world. The students presented Hillel’s birthday card to their Israeli counterparts during their August visit to Jerusalem.
Hillel’s birthday greetings were collected in honor of the country’s 60th anniversary celebration. Messages came from well-wishers of all ages and backgrounds from around the world.
