Students Remember Kristallnacht with Vigils, Testimonies

Jewish students nationwide commemorated Kristallnacht, the "Night of Broken Glass," last with candelight vigils, testimonies from Holocaust survivors and educational programs. Kristallnacht marks the two nights of anti-Semitic riots in Austria and Germany on Nov. 9-10, 1938, during which many Jews were murdered or injured, synagogues were burned, and Jewish-owned businesses were destroyed.
