Binghamton University Photo Exhibit Highlights Similarities Between Jews, Muslims

One set depicts a couple of neighborhood restaurants -- one halal, or Muslim, the other kosher, or Jewish. A second set shows children dropping coins into donation boxes.
Serkin's eyes widen in amazement.
"I was surprised to see how similar the words were that were imprinted on the box," says Serkin, who is Hillel's vice president of culture and education at Binghamton University. Hillel is a Jewish student organization.
