While an undergraduate he taught in local religious schools and interned extensively with publications in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including AOL News/Sports, Newsday, The Allentown Morning Call, The Jersey Journal, and The Tribeca Trib.

Max’s true claim to Hillel fame is his role as a photographer. Max photographed Katrina refugees and Hillel students at the Houston Astrodome in 2005; participants in Hillel’s New York CLIP program; and, most recently, he was the principal photographer of Hillel’s 2007 Annual Report.

As communications associate, Max will be responsible for editing the Shavua Tov e-newsletter, Hillel’s high school outreach program and general public relations assignments.
