Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life is at the forefront of building a global Jewish community. From South America to the former Soviet Union, Hillel, through its network of community-based student centers, is enabling thousands of students to discover and explore Jewish life and to connect to the Jewish people.
Hillel in Russia - First launched in 1994, Hillel Russia now works with nearly 15 communities across the country. Students are involved in a wide range of activities including Jewish learning and celebration, arts and culture, and community programs.
Гилель России - Гилель России начал свою деятельность в 1994 году в Москве и теперь работает с пятнадцатью общинами по всей стране. Студенты участвуют в разнообразных программах, посвященных еврейскому образованию и традиции, искусству и культуре, а также в общинных и досуговых программах.
Hillel in CASE - Hillel CASE (Central Asia Southeastern Europe) oversees Hillel's operations in six countries in the former Soviet Union: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Working in 12 communities across these six countries, Hillel CASE focuses on building the region's next generation of Jewish leaders and providing creative opportunities for students to explore their Jewish identity.
Гилель CASE – Гилель CASE осуществляет свою деятельность в шести странах Юговосточной Европы и Центральной Азии – Украине, Беларуси, Молдове, Грузии, Азербайджане и Узбекистане. Работая в двеннадцати общинах региона, Гилель CASE ставит своими приоритетами воспитание следующего поколения еврейских лидеров и создание интересных и творческих возможностей для студентов и молодежи приобщиться к еврейству.
Hillel in Israel - With eleven centers in Israel, Hillel strives to meet the specific needs of Israeli, overseas and new immigrant students. The core pillars of Hillel Israel programming include Jewish celebration,
Tzedek and community, peoplehood, and leadership initiatives.
הלל בישראל - פועל ב-11 מרכזים ברחבי הארץ, ובתוך כך, שואף לענות לצרכיהם הייחודיים של סטודנטים וצעירים ישראליים, תלמידי חו"ל, ועולים חדשים, זאת באמצעות תוכניות משמעותיות בתחומי עניין מגוונים בארבעה תחומי פעילות הכוללים חגיגה יהודית, צדק וקהילה, עמיות, ומנהיגות ויזמות.
Hillel in Latin America - The first Latin American Hillel opened in 2001, and today Hillel has five Hillel centers across
Uruguay,
Argentina and
Brazil, as well a developing venture in Paraguay (
email). Students focus on social action projects, Israel advocacy, global exchange programs, business clubs and arts and culture.
Hillel Latinoamerica - El primer Hillel en Latinoamerica se inaguro en el año 2001, en el presente existen 5 centros Hillel en la region, Uruguay (1), Argentina (3) y Brazil (1). A partir del 2009 se ha comenzado un proyecto piloto en Paraguay (email). Los estudiantes Latinoamericanos han enfocado sus esfuerozos en proyectos de acion social, Israel Advocacy, programas de intercambio, Club de Negocios, Desarrollo profesional y estimulo a la creatividad artistica y cultural.
Hillel in the United Kingdom - UJS Hillel, the national umbrella body for the United Kingdom, manages facilities and funding for the UK’s Jewish students. UJS Hillel works closely with the UK’s Union of Jewish Students (UJS), providing UJS both financial and administrative support. Together, UJS Hillel and UJS ensure that every Jewish student has access to a warm and welcoming space to explore their Jewish identity and programs to inspire meanginful Jewish experiences.
Hillel in Australia -
Hillel New South Wales seeks to advance Jewish values through engagement, leadership and learning. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Hillel NSW provides a variety of services across New South Wales state, including leadership and Israel advocacy training, career development, chaplaincy support, and dynamic and innovative programming to meet the needs and interests of our Jewish university student community.
