Fiedler Hillel at Northwestern University's student group, Students for Israel (SFI) invited more than 30 diverse campus leaders to participate in a leadership dinner and discussion with Midwest Consul General Orli Gil Jan. 20.

SFI had representation from three major campus publications, College Republicans, College Democrats, LGBT organizations, environmental organizations, Greek life, and the President of Associated Student Government at Northwestern University.

Campus leaders ate dinner together, mingled, and then were briefed on the State of Israel as well as the situation in Gaza by Consul General Gil. Students asked several questions and engaged with Consul General Gil after the formal presentation.

Throughout the event, students made meaningful connections with fellow student leaders and SFI has since followed up with many of these campus leaders to develop strategies to work together in the future.
