Tanger Hillel @ Brooklyn College Annual Fashion FUNraiser took place on March 29th, 2009. It brought together a diverse group of student models, performers, fashion designers and business people to create an evening of entertainment, for a noble cause.

The experience of planning an event this large and complex enables students to gain valuable, real-life skills; whether their professional interests fall within the field of fashion or not. It offers students the opportunity to develop and display a different type of talent by modeling in the show. Another very important goal of the program is to raise funds for a worthy charity.

This year, the auditorium was filled to capacity. The show raised $3,000 for Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind. The Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind aims to improve quality of life by providing safe mobility, independence and self-confidence, through the faithful assistance of guide dogs.
