Israeli Night

by Matt Seifman |Apr 27, 2009|Comments
Every year Yom Haatzamut comes and every year Oneonta must decide what they want to do.  We have done fairs to carnivals to simply a small celebration party to mark the end of the year...

However, this year we felt what better way to celebrate Israel's Independence than with an Israeli Culture Party!

Similar to other culture parties put on by other clubs (which was our inspiration)... Israeli Night has been designed to not only celebrate Israeli Independence day, but allows us as the Jewish student community to share our culture with the entire campus and community.

Thanks to the hard work of our Israeli Affairs chair Laura Schaffer along with her committee of hard working, dedicated individuals, Israeli night will help showcase the various aspects of the Israeli Culture.

We are ordering Falafel, along with other Israeli delicacies, we will have Israeli music playing all night along with Israeli Dancing taught by our Vice President Tara Silverman.

It's going to be a great night, full of food, fun and most of all great people having a great time as we end our year of amazing programs and amazing times. For more information please contact us at OneontaStateHillel@yahoo.com.
