Hillel Sponsors Berkshires Event

Hillel supporters Raquel and Michael Scheck invited 75 people to their home in western Massachusetts to discuss Hillel's work and its future.

Hillel President Wayne L. Firestone and Senior Vice President Tim Cohen gave a brief update on how Hillel is pro-actively engaging young people today.

Rabbi Daniel Smokler, senior Jewish educator at NYU, explained how he helps students explore answers to their big, universal questions in a Jewish context. Dan personally connected with 251 students at NYU last year to help them find meaning in their Jewish identity.

Norman Lipoff, a member of Hillel's Board of Directors, described a new initiative to strengthen Hillels in the state of Florida.
