The Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC) - a coalition of 34 national organizations dedicated to promoting Israel education and advocacy on campus - will welcome 100 college students to Las Vegas, August 9-12, 2009, for "Israel Amplified," an annual Israel advocacy conference for members of fraternities and sororities.

Conference participants, representing 60 colleges and more than 30 Greek-letter organizations, will attend educational seminars led by professionals from a variety of ICC member organizations, including AIPAC, ADL, Hasbara Fellowships, JNF, StandWithUs, USD/Hagshama, and ZOA.

Students will be greeted by Jewish Federation of Las Vegas Executive Director Elliot Carp and by executives from Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi), Sigma Alpha Mu (SAM), and Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT) fraternities and Alpha Epsilon Phi (AEPhi) and Sigma Delta Tau (SDT) sororities.

Part of each student's conference registration fee will be donated to an Israeli charity, which will be selected by participants during a "bowl-a-thon" on the second evening of the conference.

Now in its fourth year, Israel Amplified, originally created by AEPi as a project to encourage pro-Israel activities among its membership, is being generously sponsored by the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation and an anonymous foundation. AEPi, AEPhi, SAM, and ZBT are also co-sponsors of the conference.

For further information, please contact the ICC's Greek Outreach Associate, Alex Shapero, at ashapero@israelcc.org or 202-449-6508.
