With the opening of the Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly, Hillel releases its 2010 Annual Report, "Faces of the Future," in which students from around the globe share their vision for their Jewish future. Many of the students profiled are attending the JFNA GA.
Peace, peoplehood and tolerance are central to their hopes. The students range from a member of College Republicans from Tampa, to a dental student from Rio de Janeiro, to an engineering student from Yekaterinburg, Russia. They all wish for a Jewish future in which their children will enjoy the resources of a flourishing Jewish community free from fear and prejudice.
The report also lists Hillel's institutional and individual benefactors for the preceding year and includes the organization's financial statements. Visit the Hillel Web site for a copy and to see a video presentation of the students' profiles.
