NEW YORK, Sept. 18 — Jonathan Joseph ("J.J.") Greenberg, 36, an ascendant star in Jewish communal service, died in Tel Aviv on Saturday, one day after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle. He was buried Tuesday in Jerusalem in a funeral attended by hundreds of mourners.
