Melissa Horen, 19, recently returned from a nine-week internship at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's main office in Washington, D.C.

Now, as she gets closer to her sophomore year at the University of Kansas, she is preparing for activities with her sorority, events with the KU Israel Alliance and, most of all, her term as president of KU Hillel.
