Over 35 student organizations were at the Ohio Union yesterday to help brighten the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Hillel's Starfish Social Action Team and Adventures for Wish Kids paired up to present a tropical-themed carnival.

"Each quarter we do a 'Do the Deed' project. We heard about the Adventures for Wish Kids and thought if we could help them out, it would be a good experience to make others smile and perhaps build a partnership with them," said Ben Scherr, Hillel's social justice coordinator and Starfish's advisor.
