Meeting in Washington, D.C., Hillel's International Board of Governors officially welcomed 14 men and women who have joined the group in the last year. Joining the Board, Hillel's highest consultative body, were community leaders from the United States, Russia and Great Britain.
Individuals must commit $50,000 annually to join the Board. Many Board members also support local Hillels and other international initiatives.
"Hillel is honored to include global leaders in the world of business and philanthropy among our Board members," says Hillel President Avraham Infeld. "These are men and women who care passionately about Jewish life on campus and the future of the Jewish community."
Individuals who have joined the Board in the last year are designated with bold type.
