Edgar Bronfman, International Board of Governors Chair. (IsraelNN.com) Jewish philanthropist and visionary Edgar M. Bronfman will receive an Honorary Doctorate from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev on May 11, 2004. The event is part of the 34th Annual Board of Governors Meeting and marks the inauguration of a new Hillel center on the University campus. Bronfman is President of the World Jewish Congress and Chairman of Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life.
