Ed Gordon has spoken to millions of people in America through television and writing, but yesterday he did it up-close and live. Gordon, anchor and award-winning journalist with BET News and MSNBC, spoke at Ohio State in the student activity center at the Hillel Center on diversity and how the media is shaping the image of the United States.
Gordon spoke about how the media is portraying images of blacks and is therefore creating two worlds in America. He addressed the presidential election and also stressed that black leaders need to step up now more than ever. Gordon asked everyone to take a different look at the people they live or work with.
