Berlin, of all places, will likely be the site of Western Europe's first Hillel.

Avraham Infeld, president of Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Life on Campus, returned earlier this week from a five-day trip to Berlin, where he met with Jewish students and lay leaders about the possibility of opening a branch of the Jewish student center on German turf.
