Gallaudet Hillel, Synagogues Open Doors for Deaf Jews

Hillel at Gallaudet University, America's only liberal-arts university for people who are deaf and hard of hearing, is among a rising number of Jewish institutions that are becoming more welcoming to a population whose religious needs had been underserved by the Jewish community in the past.
