Georgetown University recently announced the university's affiliation with Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life with two celebrations bringing together foundation representatives and university students and officials. The partnership connects Georgetown to an international network of Jewish students and its resources for exploring and celebrating religious identity.

"With our Hillel affiliation, our Jewish chaplaincy can expand resources for our Jewish students," said Rev. Philip L. Boroughs, S.J., Vice President for Mission and Ministry at Georgetown University. "And Georgetown University's institutional commitment to inter-religious understanding through our ministerial and academic resources, such as our Center for Jewish Civilization, can provide opportunities for engagement with the diverse religious traditions present here on campus and beyond, as a service to Hillel."
