KU Hillel Director Gets into "Schticky Situations" with Jewish Improv Group

What am I giving you for your bar mitzvah gift? See if you can guess. It's about yay high and so big and I can do … THIS… with it.

What is it?

Isn't it obvious? It's a scene from Schticky Situation, a Jewish-themed improvisational comedy group that includes University of Kansas Hillel Executive Director Jay Lewis. The four-person comedy troupe separates into pairs and competes to see who can guess what the (pretend) bar mitzvah gift is. One half of the team mimes the object, dropping clever clues, while the other half must try to figure it out.

But in the land of improvisational comedy, in which every scene performed on stage is made up on the spot based on suggestions shouted out from the audience, our bar mitzvah boy isn't receiving a mere fountain pen. It's a purple fountain pen that shoots out a stream of hot matzah ball soup.
