Hillel Board Has First Meeting of New Academic Year

At the first meeting of the new academic year, Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life Board of Directors, welcomed its new chairman, Julian Sandler and thanked outgoing chairman, Randall Kaplan for his dedication to the organization.
Longtime friend, Senator Ron Widen (D-OR), praised Kaplan’s “total and absolute commitment to the Jewish people” at a luncheon in the Charles and Lynn Schusterman International Center in Washington, D.C.
During the two-day meeting, six students from campuses across the country, also joined the Board of Directors. Additionally, the board moved to reaccredit the Hillel of San Diego and to grant provisional accreditation to Rutgers University Hillel.
