2,977 American Flags on the Queens College lawn.

Queens College Hillel students Jacob Solomon and Sammy Hahn placed 2,977 American flags on the college’s lawn to remember the victims of 9/11 on the seventh anniversary of this tragic event in American history.

New York State Senator Frank Padavan, Queens College President James Muyskens, Father Paul Wood, and Rabbi Moshe Shur spoke and offered words of condolence and hope to those assembled and to the victims and their families.

The program was sponsored by the Queens College Student Association, Hillel, Catholic Newman Center, and Campus Ministers.
