Welcome to Hillel

Welcome to Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, the largest Jewish campus organization in the world, with operations in North and South America, Israel, and spanning ten time zones in the former Soviet Union. Through our global network, we offer Jewish students at more than 500 colleges and universities opportunities to enrich their lives and to enrich the Jewish people and the world.

From my first experiences with Hillel at the University of Miami as a student Soviet Jewry activist to today (read my Hillel story), I have been inspired by the dedication, energy, and effectiveness of our professionals and students. Our product at Hillel is simple: It's the Jewish future.

As you explore Hillel's Web site, you will learn that Hillel is not just a place. You will see a network creating meaningful Jewish experiences across the globe. You will experience the joy that students have upeon their return from Taglit-birthright Israel and alternative break experiences. You will see an organization that values and invest in its professionals.

I invite you to explore Hillel's world by perusing our annual report, and I encourage you to visit our popular Guide to Jewish Life on Campus (JLOC), which allows you to explore Jewish life on campuses throughout North America and the world.

Hillel's vision is extremely ambitious, seeking to inspire every Jewish student to make an enduring committment to Jewish life.  I hope you will join us on this journey and that you will share your thoughts, stories, and advice with me as we help to deliver the Jewish future.

Sincerely,

Wayne L. Firestone
