Domain NamesYou might want to consider purchasing a domain name, such as someplacehillel.org, so that students, parents, and lay leaders have a simple name to remember. In most instances, you can set up your new domain to point to where your pages are hosted. If you are purchasing space for your site, the host will often help you purchase and configure a new domain at the same time you set up your account. It all really sounds harder than it is. Expect to spend as much as $35 a year for a domain name, though some companies offer domains for significantly less. Be careful, because as in many other things in life, you sometimes get what you pay for.Last modified: December 2, 2005
