Overview:
The Bronfman Fellow will work directly with the President of Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life. The Fellow should have a background in the history, values and texts of the Jewish civilization, excellent writing and editorial skills, proven collaborative and multi-tasking skills, and an interest in organizational effectiveness and management. The Fellow may engage in speech-writing for the President, and will be charged with some administrative and logistical duties in the Office of the President. Additionally, the Fellow may accompany the President as he travels nationally and internationally, meeting with Hillel’s partners and stakeholders. In addition to receiving ongoing feedback from the President, the Fellow will receive regular support and supervision from another senior member of the Hillel staff.
The salary for the Hillel Schusterman International Center Fellowship is $28,000. Hillel also offers a generous benefits package that includes health and dental insurance and fifteen days each of vacation and sick leave.

Applications must be completed by Friday, February 26, 2010. Applicants will be notified by e-mail upon receipt of their completed applications. Phone interviews will be offered to a select number of candidates in mid-March, and finalists will be interviewed in person in Washington, DC in late March and/or early April. Offers for the Bronfman Fellowship will be made in early to mid-April. The Bronfman Fellowship will begin in June 2010.
