APPLYING FOR AN OPEN POSITION VIA OUR ONLINE SYSTEM To view Hillel's open positions,
go to our Jobs site
, and then click on "All Postings." Click on a job title to view a complete job description. To apply
, click on New Resume/CV or Existing Resume/CV.
Once you begin the application, the process will take approximately 10 minutes. Please do not
click the Back button in your browser, as you will lose your application and be forced to start over.First, you will be required to create a user profile.
At the bottom of the job description, click on New Resume/CV. This will take you to a new page, where you must supply us with general contact information. Please note: An active e-mail address is required.
Applicants who do not currently have an e-mail address may set up a free e-mail account at www.yahoo.com
At the bottom of the profile screen, you will need to create/enter a password. This will allow you to edit / update your existing job record, and apply for other positions of interest in the future. Password tip:
Your password must be between 6 and 10 characters long, containing both alpha - and numeric-characters. Please do not use an e-mail address as your password. Be sure to write down your password somewhere secure before proceeding to the next screen. COVER LETTER / RESUME SUBMISSION
Once you have established your password and completed your applicant profile, you must submit your resume for the position:
Upload Resume: Please be sure that your resume, cover letter, and references are saved in a single document. Formats allowed: MS Word (.doc), PDF (.pdf), Plain Text (.txt), Rich Text Format (.rtf), and/or HTML (.htm/.html).
PLEASE NOTE: When you upload the document, the system will create an unformatted version of your resume as a snapshot in your application. The formatted version of your resume will also be attached to your application, and will be used during the hiring process.

Please Note: If you make a mistake at any point during the resume submission process, click the Back button on your browser twice and then refresh. Or you can select the Preview / Edit Resume button at the top of the page and make the correction.
Adjust Browser Font size:
In Microsoft Internet Explorer:
1. Click the View menu.
2. Move the cursor down to Text Size within the View menu.
3. Select the appropriate size from the Text Size submenu.
Make sure your pop-up blocker settings allow pop-ups for the following addresses: ats.openhire.com and www.openhire.com.
To adjust your settings:
1. Go to Tools.
2. Select Pop-up Blocker, then Pop-up Blocker Settings.
3. In the “address of website to allow” field: type ats.openhire.com and click “add”.
4. Then type www.openhire.com in this same field and click “add”.
5. Click “Close”.
