Bryant University Hillel is a small but growing and vibrant group of Jewish students from varied backgrounds. We hold most of our functions in the newest building on campus, the Ronald K. and Kati C. Machtley Interfaith Center. Bryant Hillel holds pluralistic open and participatory Friday night services every other week, usually accompanied by dinner made by the Hillel students in the kitchen of the interfaith center. The student leadership is an executive board of five committed students, who welcome all to participate and share their ideas. Hillel erects a sukkah each fall, holds an open Passover seder, and holds programs for social and educational purposes throughout the year. There is a full-time rabbi on campus who works as university lecturer, Jewish Chaplain and Hillel Director, as well as a faculty advisor to Hillel.
