This Hillel, formerly known as the Jewish Student Organization, transformed fall 2005 and has been growing ever since. This Hillel caters to everyone! Jewish, non-Jewish, not sure, everybody is welcome. We have students representing all 'flavors' of Judaism. Hillel of Southwest Florida has hosted a variety of events here at FGCU. We have hosted Shabbat Quickies and A Purim Masquerade Ball and the most popular Holiday celebration has been our Passover Seders, in which large numbers of non-Jewish students attended as well as Jewish professors and staff. Our non-religious events have included: 'Jews on Ice', Jew-day-a, and Jew-pardy.
