Conferences
For Professionals:
- Hillel Institute - In August 2011, Hillel Professionals from around the globe gathered at Washington University in St. Louis, for a truly special opportunity. This conference brought together the best of Hillel’s Engagement Institute, Immersion Experiences, and of course, Professional Staff Conference.
In addition to the Institute itself, the conference was supplemented with a variety of trainings including post-Institute trainings, New Professionals Institute, New Directors Institute and a student training component.
- Hillel New Directors Institute - In August 2011, new Hillel directors participated in an intensive orientation at Washington University in St. Louis. This orientation was held in conjunction with Hillel Institute 2011. Hillel's New Directors Institute was made possible by the Julian Sandler Endowment for Executive Leadership Development. Information on New Directors Institute 2012 will be available in the spring of 2012.
- Hillel New Professionals Institute - In August 2011, new Hillel professionals participated in an intensive orientation at Washington University in St. Louis. This orientation was held in conjunction with Hillel Institute 2011. Information on New Professionals Institute 2012 will be available in the spring of 2012.
For Students:
- Hillel's Student Program at the Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly (GA) - The GA is the annual gathering of the organized Jewish community. This conference typically attracts 5,000 participants including lay leaders, professionals, and undergraduate and graduate students.
- Engagement Institute - Over the summer more than 600 students and staff will come together for 5 days to delve into what it means to be an engagement intern and student leader. Get ready for the year ahead and participate in exciting experiences with your campus group, experts on relationship & community building and peer students from over 60 campuses across the nation.
For All:
- Summit 2008 - Following the ground-breaking Summit 2006, Hillel once again brought together key decision makers from academia and the Jewish community to explore how we can work together to create a more civil society.
