Lobbying on Capitol Hill
Tuesday, February 27, 2007Each year, Spitzer Forum and JCPA Plenum participants meet in their communities to lobby their repective elected officials, often the highlight of the conference for many participants. The issues being addressed are chosen by JCPA as a result of a democratic process where JCPA members are able to discuss, debate and vote.
New this year, students will be lobbying on environmental issues. This does not preclude students from participating in other issues, but does provide a specific space for student voices.
To ensure a meaningful and effective lobbying experience, please review the hill briefings.
