The Spitzer Forum is a three-day conference for Jewish students interested in pursuing social justice through political activism, grassroots organizing, community service and advocacy.  In February 2007, the theme of the conference was Sustainability.

Students:

• Participated in skill building workshops
• Met with experts on social justice issues
• Learned how the Jewish community is responding to these issues
• Networked with other campus activists
• Lobbied on Capitol Hill with members of Jewish Council for Public Affairs
• Created solutions to make their environment sustainable
• Participated in Open Space Technology

The Spitzer Forum was held in conjunction with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) Plenum. JCPA is American Jewry's national coordinating body in the public affairs arena.
