During the conference, students may choose to concentrate in a specific area:

J-Track
A special journalism track, co-sponsored by the American Jewish Press Association, will be offered for students who wish to become involved in public policy as journalists. The J-Track will include meetings with prominent journalists, visits to the offices of news organizations, career recommendations and a discussion of the ethical dilemmas confronted by Jewish journalists.

JCPA Advanced Leadership Track
This year, Hillel, together with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), will provide an advanced leadership track at Spitzer Forum. Participants in this track must have attended Spitzer once before.  Preference will be given to juniors and seniors.

This track will focus on social justice through the lens of community relations. Students will learn how the Jewish community engages society as a whole in efforts to promote Jewish interests and values and support general social policy concerns.

This track is ideal for students interested in policy-making, community relations, and/or interfaith and intergroup work. Students will learn how policy decisions are made in the Jewish community, which issues Jewish communities are currently grappling with, and how to engage interfaith and other coalition partners in social justice and other issues.

Participants will:
• Participate in challenging conversations
• Work with student community and campus leaders
• Network with top Jewish community professionals and lay leaders
• Learn important skills from experienced Jewish community professionals
