We are excited to welcome nominations for the 2016 Drive to Excellence Awards and the 2016 Exemplar Awards. The Drive to Excellence Awards recognize Hillels that demonstrate Excellence in Hillel’s movement-wide Strategic Implementation Plan. The Exemplar Awards recognize our colleagues whose remarkable passion and outstanding devotion to the Jewish campus community sets a standard for all of us to emulate.
This year’s Awards Presentation will feature the same awards as in past years, as well as some new and exciting additions to honor excellence (see below for more information). All awards will be presented on Monday evening December 5th at the Global Assembly.
Please click below on the name of the Award you would like to apply for to begin the nomination process for that Award. After you have submitted your application, you can return to this page to apply for additional awards, if desired.
The Drive to Excellence awards will be reviewed and recommended by a selection committee made up of professionals from local Hillels around the world and representatives from Hillel International, except for the People’s Choice Award, which will be voted on by the entire professional field immediately leading up to Global Assembly. Because the awards selection committee is geographically dispersed, we will accept only electronic submissions. Hardcopy materials will not be considered.
If you have any questions regarding the nomination process, we encourage you to email email@example.com.
All nominations are due by Monday, November 7, 2016

This award will recognize Hillel(s) that demonstrate excellence through an initiative or methodology that refreshes, reinvents or revolutionizes the way that Hillel creates the relationships, communities and experiences that help students to engage in a process of Jewish self-authorship, and/or that help staff improve the impact of their work by encouraging reasonable and calculated risk taking, exploration, and curiosity.
