American Jewish Committee |
Mission Statement:
TThe American Jewish Committee is part State Department of the Jewish community in the United States, part think tank, forging diplomatic contacts throughout the world in order to defend local Jewish communities and encourage relations with Israel. Founded in 1906, AJC also has an important history of building bridges with ethnic and religious communities in the United States and defending church-state separation. The AJC Fellows program is a high-level, paid 9-week fellowship for undergraduate and graduate students -- with positions in the U.S. and abroad.
