Mission Statement:
The ATS is the support organization for the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Israel’s premier science and technology university. Based in New York City, it is the leading American organization supporting higher education in Israel. The ATS was founded in 1940 by a group of American scientist and engineers who recognized the major role that the Technion would play in the development of the Jewish homeland. Today it is one of the fastest growing fund-raising organizations in the United States. Its members are distinguished scientists, successful entrepreneurs, and business leaders. Much of the Technion’s growth was made possible through the dedication and generosity of ATS donors who have given more than $700 million to support the Technion’s world-class education programs and facilities. The ATS is constantly expanding its efforts to secure the Technion’s continued excellence and achievement. ATS members believe that the future of Israel is in high technology and the future of high technology in Israel is at the Technion.
