Arava Institute for Environmental Studies (AIES)

Mission Statement:
The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies offeres a year or semeter of intensive hands-on learning onthe grounds of kibbutz Ketura in the scenic Arava Valley of southern Israel. Situated near the Jordanian and Egyptian borders, AIES serves as a regional center for conervation and environmental protection activities, developing ties between Middle Eastern and International university students. Students at the Arava Institute receive transcripts from the Overseas Student Program of Tel Aviv Univeristy.
