Mission Statement:
Many Congressional staffers are young professionals, often beginner their careers in Washington DC with few connections to Jewish life. Other, more established staff find that their busy professional lives prevent them from accessing the wealth of existing Jewish community activities and resources in DC. The CJSA continues its ongoing efforts on behalf of these Jewish staffers to offer valuable professional experiences and expand personal networks through convenient, casual, and easily accessible activities. We bring together staff from the House, Senate, and other entities of the United States Congress to provide cultural, educational, and social experiences around Judaism for Jewish Staffers. Our executive board plans events on and off the hill on a regular basis, and encourages ideas and feedback from new and returning members. To get involved and stay updated, visit our main website at jewishstaffers.org <http://www.google.com/ig> or join our Yahoo! group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jewishstaffers/join for email updates.
