Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) |
Mission Statement:
Since its founding in 1970, the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) has been committed to ending poverty-related hunger in the United States. We work to achieve this goal by obtaining for low-income people access to food that ensures health and well-being. This mission is informed by an understanding that hunger is born out of poverty and that hunger cannot be eliminated without changing the conditions of poverty. FRAC works in partnership with others through a variety of methods, including public education, research, publications, grassroots mobilization, policy analysis, and other appropriate means.
