Mission Statement:
Hadassah is one of the foremost women’s groups in the United States and the largest women’s Zionist organization in the world. Founded in New York in 1912 by Henrietta Szold to provide modern health care for those in Palestine, Hadassah is now comprised of more than 300,000 women dedicated to healing, education and volunteerism. Young Judaea, Hadassah’s Zionist youth movement, offers clubs and summer campus in the United States and work-study programs in Israel. Hadassah also sponsors ten of Hillel’s Jewish Campus Service Corps Fellows.
