Mission Statement:
Welcoming students of all backgrounds, Hebrew College offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in Jewish education and Jewish studies, and certificates in Jewish day school education; Jewish family education; early childhood Jewish education; and Jewish special education as well as many other areas of study. Through a collaboration between Hebrew College and Simmons College Graduate School of Social Work, students may earn a Master of Social Work and a certificate in Jewish communal and clinical social work. Hebrew College’s newest programs include the Rabbinical School, offering a five-year course of study leading to Rabbinic Ordination within a transdenominational setting in conjunction with an MA in Jewish Studies. The College’s Cantor-Educator program offers a five-year course of study fulfilling the requirements of cantorial ordination within a transdenominational setting while enabling students to earn an MJEd. Hebrew College also offers its MA in Jewish Studies and Hebrew language instruction through Hebrew College Online .
